No More TV

Ok. First blog. Don't terribly know how this will work but let's give it a shot.
All I have to say today is that we (mainly me) are sick and tired of what is passing as programming on TV. Get home, turn on the tube, surf, find nothing worth watching and then settling for 'this' program or 'that; program that really isn't very good. The hell with it. Cable TV got disconnected today. So far.... I feel great. Excited about the change. Stay tuned here though. I might be jonesing by the weekend.
Hi Squidgey-One. AML.

Yea!!!! You've come over to the dark side, fellow blogger. And no more tv! Probably will mean lots of blogging. Or lots of frontal nudity. :o) BTW , were you fully clothed when you made the cookies? Do I really want to know?

And if you need any help with your blog set-up or whatever, let me know. I'm such an expert now. Ahem...

Congratulations! What a day - losing tv and gaining blogging. I must say that the loss of tv might be a tough one, what with all the great programming. Why, I just finished watching Gene Simmons's new home improvement show, "Docorating With Black". Impressive.

I'm not sure what to call you. Perhaps Bob the Blogger? Blog the Bobber? Blob the Bogger? Too many options. Let's go with Rob.

Rock On

So? Did you survive last night? Day one - no TV.

Well, as the antenna will soon be extinct, my plan of cutting my cable and only watching PBS is out of the question.

Also, if I cut my cable, I'd have to 'visit' my 'friends' every Saturday or Sunday during the NASCAR season. I have a feeling if I did cut my cable, my 'friends' would start a collection to get my cable back pretty damn quick.
